I don't know what the statistics are, but HEAPS of young people, all over the world, live in share housing. I define "share housing" to be any living situation where you share bills and amenities, but aren't necessarily in a relationship.

I've been share living since 1996, and I figure it's about time there's some tools and support for all the shared households around the world. Hence, shareliving.com
